40.5mm Ultra Slim Multi-Coated Circular Polarizing Filter

The PROfezzion PF-CPL series Ultra Slim Multi-Coated Circular Polarizing Filter is effective to reduce reflections and glare from a non-metallic surface, such as water and glass, aiming to improve image quality, increase color saturation, and create a dramatic contrast between sky and cloud. For example, we can take a clear photo of the fish in the water with the CPL filter by reducing the reflection from the surface of the water, we can take gorgeous pictures of flowers and plants, and we can also create a dramatic contrast between the sky and cloud in landscape photography.

The PROfezzion PF-CPL series filter features double-sided coating with 6 layers of coating on each surface to reduce ghosting and reflections in backlight photography. The polarization ratio of the filter is up to 99.8% or above for it is constructed from Japanese optical glass with fine grinding and polishing and Japanese High-Rate Transparency(HRT) polarizing film, effectively reducing reflections and improving the image qualities. Additionally, the thickness of the filter's glass is just 1.5mm (0.06") and the frame is only 4.4mm (0.17"), which helps to minimize the likelihood of vignetting. The hardness of the glass is up to 9HD, thus providing additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur. The anti-erosion frame, sturdy and durable, is made of aviation aluminium alloy. This PROfezzion PF-CPL series filter has different thread sizes available from 40.5~82mm. Besides that, the front of the frame is designed with thread for attaching a lens cap or other accessories.

In addition, the PROfezzion PF-CPL series filter comes with a delicate and portable filter case. Each filter can be fixed firmly in the case via the custom-fitted sponge cushion. Moreover, the moistureproof interleaving paper and the sponge cushion at the bottom effectively protect the filter from moisture and impact.
